Minoxidil liquid 5% is a hair regrowth treatment for men. The active ingredient is minoxidil 5%. What is Minoxidil?
Minoxidil is a solution containing 5% of minoxidil for use only on the scalp to help regrow hair in men.

Who can use Minoxidil?
Minoxidil is for men only. Topical Minoxidil 5% may be suitable for you if you are a male aged at least 18 years with progressively thinning hair or progressive hair loss on the top of the scalp. It is not intended for frontal baldness or hair loss. The common hereditary process of thinning or hair loss starts slowly and may become noticeable only after years of progressive loss. Minoxidil topical solution is intended for men whose hair loss or thinning starts at the top of the scalp.

Many who experience hair loss have other family members whose hair is thinning or gradually losing their hair. If you don't have a family history of thinning hair or progressive hair loss, or if your hair loss is patchy, see your doctor.

How long can I expect results from using Minoxidil?
Since normal hair generally only grows 1/2 to 1 inch per month, hair regrowth with Minoxidil solution also takes time.

Results can be seen as early as 2 months with twice-daily use. For some men, it may take at least 4 months for results to become visible. If you don't see any results after 4 months, stop using Minoxidil solution and seek your doctor's advice.

When you start using Minoxidil, your hair loss may temporarily increase for up to 2 weeks. This is probably a sign that you're getting rid of old hair to regrow more new hair. This temporary increase in hair loss is expected and is part of the process of finding out how Minoxidil regrows hair. Remember that this increased hair loss is temporary. However, if it continues after two weeks, consult your doctor.

How will hair look with Minoxidil solution 5%?
At first, hair growth is usually soft, fluffy, colorless hair (like peach fuzz). After further use, the new hair should be the same color and thickness as the other hair on your scalp.

How long do I need to use Minoxidil solution?
If you experience hair regrowth, continued use of Minoxidil solution is necessary or hair loss will resume.

What happens if I stop using Minoxidil solution completely?
Continuous use of Minoxidil is necessary to maintain hair regrowth. If you stop using Minoxidil, you will lose your newly regrown hair within 3 to 4 months.

Use: Apply one milliliter twice a day to the scalp in the area of hair loss. Massage scalp with fingers, then wash hands. See enclosed leaflet for full instructions on how to use. Greater or more frequent use will not improve results. Continued use is necessary to increase and maintain hair regrowth or hair loss will resume.
